Take Time to Connect with Nature!
Welcome!
It has been quite awhile since my last update. Since then, many things have changed around us and tumultuous times could be ahead. But some things haven’t changed. Life is enriched by nature and art of all kinds.
The mountains are one of the many places I go for inspiration. Recently, larches and early snow in the fall followed by Lake Louise at Christmas with family were ways to feel the energy of the natural world. During my last trip, I felt really attached to the glaciers on the mountain tops. Over the years that I’ve visited the mountains, dramatic changes in the glaciers are evident. I feel very fortunate to be able to hold a show of my most recent work starting March 21, 2025 at the Willock & Sax Gallery in Banff. This exhibition, entitled “Day of the Glacier”, centres on the glaciers of this region and coincides with the United Nations recognition of 2025 as the International Year of Glaciers’ Preservation.
Breathe in the fresh air, listen to the sounds of the wind and let nature fill your soul with its energy.
