Georgina Hunt - Canadian Rocky Mountains Artist
Expression of love for the Canadian wilderness and its landscapes through her paintings
View Gallery
Welcome
My work is an expression of my love for the Canadian wilderness and the natural landscape and all that it encompasses. The energy of cascading water and the howling winds as they sculpt the clouds that form around the mountains, the smell of the fresh moist air in the forest and along the shorelines, the drama of the light peeking through clouds at sunset, the delicacy of the wildflower struggling in a harsh environment are all things that engulf my soul and fuel my paintbrush.
The Canadian Rockies from Banff to Jasper; Lake O’Hara in Yoho National Park; Mount Assiniboine Provincial Park; and the Bugaboos in the Purcell Mountains are each amazing examples of the mountain wilderness that captivates me.
My brush is the instrument that I have to communicate to you the beauty in nature and let it touch you as it has touched me.

Commissioned Artwork
Though enjoying my artwork but unable to find exactly what you want - a commission is a great opportunity.
Communication between the artist and the patron is key to a great commission. Sharing ideas can lead to an exciting consensus.
